- 1/2 cup cold water

- Magic Custard Cake:
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted Butter
- 2 cups (480ml) Milk
- 4 Eggs, separated
- 1 1/4 cups (150g) Confectioner's Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon (15ml) Water
- 1 cup (115g) Flour
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) Vanilla Extract
- extra confectioner's sugar for dusting
- Chocolate Magic Custard Cake:
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted Butter
- 2 1/2 cups (600ml) Milk
- 1 cup (115g) Flour
- 1/2 cup (43g) Cocoa Powder
- 4 Eggs, separated
- 1/8 teaspoon distilled white Vinegar
- 1 3/4 cups (210g) Confectioner's Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons (30ml) Espresso or Strong Coffee, lukewarm
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) Vanilla Extract
- extra confectioner's sugar for dusting
- optional-fresh berries for garnish
Peach Amaretto Upside-Down Cake

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 3 tablespoons amaretto liqueur
- 2 peaches, pitted and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 medium eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 cup milk
Anise-Flavored Doughnuts

Yield: Serves 24 (serving size: 2 cookies)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup anisette liqueur (such as Chinchon)
- 1 large egg
- 6.75 ounces all-purpose flour (about 1 1/2 cups)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Cooking spray
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
No-Bake Cookie Pie Crust

Place all ingredients into a bowl
- 2 cups fine cookie crumbs (I used Nilla Wafers)
- 1 stick of butter, melted (may need more or less depending on cookie used)
- 1/3 cup sugar (can use less)

- GLAZE:
- 1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water (110° to 115°)
- 1 cup warm 2% milk (110° to 115°)
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
- 5 cups all-purpose flour
- Oil for deep-fat frying
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
