Turmeric And Coconut Milk Bedtime Elixir

Turmeric-infused coconut milk is delicious and warming
- 4 cups coconut milk
- 2 tsp powdered turmeric or 2 tbsp peeled, fresh turmeric
- 2 tsp powdered ginger or 2 tbsp peeled, fresh ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup, raw honey OR a squirt of liquid stevia
- 12 peppercorns, gently crushed
Double Chocolate Kahlua Cake with Fluffy Chocolate Kuhlua Frosting

- CAKE:
- 1 package (18.25-ounces) plain devil's food cake mix
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup Kahlua
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large egg
- FLUFFY CHOCOLATE KAHLUA FROSTING:
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 6 tablespoons boiling water
- 2 tablespoons Kahlua
- 8 tablespoons (1-stick) butter, softened
- 4 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 400. Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners
- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 3/4 cups millet flour
- 1/2 cup plus 2 TBS sugar, divided
- 3/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cup chilled unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 3/4 cups milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoon rose water
- 1 6 oz container fresh raspberries, rinsed
- 1/3 cup sliced almonds, optional

- Cake:
- 1/2 cup butter (can substitute applesauce)
- 1/3 cup coconut oil(can substitute canola or vegetable oil)
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups quinoa flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups blended zucchini
- Topping:
- 1/2 cup sliced pecans
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar

- 1 green pepper , julienned
- 1 red pepper , julienned
- 1 yellow pepper , julienned

- 2 cups carrots , julienned (about 4 carrots)
- 1/3 cup red onion , chopped
- 1/2 cup raisins (I use mix of white & regular)
- 1 cucumber , sliced
- 1 cup red cabbage , julienned (optional)
- 2/3 cup vinegar (I use seasoned white rice vinegar)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
