- 1 (10.75oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1.2 small onion, diced
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp milk
- 1 pkg (8oz) sliced fresh mushrooms (3 cups)
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp dried basil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (cut into cubes)
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (cut into cubes)
Basic Chicken Stock

In a large shallow roasting pan place chicken pieces, carrots, and onion
- 4 lbs bony chicken pieces (backs, necks and wings)
- 3 carrots, cut up
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 small head cabbage, cut up
- 2 stalks celery with leaves, cut up
- 1 large tomato, cored and cut up
- 8 whole black peppercorns
- 4 sprigs parsley
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp dried thyme, crushed
- 1 clove garlic, halved
- 1 egg (optional)
- 12 cups water

- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
