  • 4 large egg whites
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 small red onion, cut in half, then thinly sliced into half moons
  • 2 cups chopped cooked or thawed frozen broccoli
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 oz extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (1/2 cup)

  • 2 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs (about 12)

  • 1 3/4 cups no salt chicken stock (from 32oz carton)
  • 1/2 cup white wine, if desired
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried basil leaves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 dried bay leaf
  • 12 oz uncooked lintguine
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme leaves
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • Shredded Parmesan Cheese, if desired

Spray 3 - 4 qt slow cooker with cooking spray

  • 1 (3lb) fresh beef brisket (not corned beef)
  • 1 pkg (1oz) onion recipe and dip soup mix (from 2oz box)
  • 1 can (10 1/2oz) condensed beef broth
  • 8 mini baguettes or sandwich buns
  • NOTE: This seemed a little salty - probably because of the soup mix. Check and see what seasonings are in it and maybe make your own.

  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp chipolte powder
  • 1/2 lb fresh Mexican chorizo or hot italian sausage, casings removed
  • one 15oz can pinto beans, with their liquid
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 cup fried pork rinds, coarsely chopped, for garnish
