Cherry Cream Frosting

In small saucepan, stir together milk and flour
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butter, room temp
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 2 1/4 cup powder sugar
- 1/4 cup maraschino cherries, chopped and drained
- Few drops of red food coloring (optional)
Crispy Mustard-Roasted Chicken

- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 Tbsp minced fresh thyme leaves
- kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper
- 2 cups panko bread crumbs

- 1 lb bulk pork breakfast sausage
- 1 onion, chopped fine
- 1 tsp caraway seeds

- 1 lb string beans, ends trimmed, halved
- 4 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 lb white mushrooms, stemmed and sliced into 1/2 inch slices (about 4 cups)
- 1 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream

- 1 quart (1 liter) water
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup lemon juice (4 lemons)
- zest of 4 organic lemons
Chicken Ramen

Use homemade chicken stock whenever possible for the best overall flavor
- Toppings of your choice:
- 6 6 6 cups chicken stock
- 1 1 1 cup soy or almond milk
- 1-3 1-3 1-3 Tbsp soy sauce (your preference)
- 1 1 1 Tbsp salt
- 4 4 4 portions ramen noodles
- 1/4 2 2 2 5-10 Slice baked tenderloins thin and then cook in a skillet with: 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 Tbsp sake OR mirin, 2 tsp brown sugar, 2 tsp ginger paste or fresh grated ginger, white pepper. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.

- 1/4 lb Prosciutto or Pancetta, finely chopped

- 1/2 cup yellow split peas, washed and picked over
- 1/2 cup green split peas, washed and picked over
- 6 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup croutons, for garnish
