SIRLOIN STEAKS WITH MIXED PEPPERCORNS

PREPARATION In a spice grinder, coarsely grind the peppercorns
- 1-1/2 tablespoons whole peppercorn blend (black, green, pink, red, white, etc.), or substitute black peppercorns
- Two 10- to 12-ounce top sirloin steaks, each at least 1 inch thick, well-chilled
- Worcestershire sauce
- Coarse salt (kosher or sea)
- 2 tablespoons butter cut into 8 pieces
