Birthday Whoopie Pies for everyone!
- Cooking spray
- 1 box yellow cake mix (for two 9-inch rounds), such as Duncan Hines
- 2 large eggs
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 ounces white chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- One 8-ounce package cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup multicolored sprinkles
Grilled Vegetables with Cilantro-Yogurt Dressing

Make the yogurt sauce by combining the yogurt, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, hot sauce, salt and pepper in a bowl
- 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 3 to 4 dashes hot sauce
- Salt and ground black pepper
- 4 zucchini, cut into long slices
- 4 yellow squash, cut into long slices
- 1 eggplant, cut into long slices
- 2 red onions, peeled and sliced
- 12 cremini mushrooms, halved
- Olive oil, for brushing

- ∙ 2 pounds white sugar (4 1/2 cups)

BACON CHEESEBURGER BOMBS

1. Separate dough into 8 biscuits
- 1 can Pillsbury Grands flaky layers refrigerated biscuits
- 1 pound lean (at least 80%) ground beef or 16 frozen (thawed) cooked mini meatballs
- 1 8 ounce block cheddar cheese cut into 16 cubes
- 1 pound bacon
- long toothpicks or skewers
- Vegetable or canola oil for frying

- 1/3 cup oatmeal
- 5 tablespoons non-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 6 frozen strawberries
Penne with Shrimp and Herbed Cream Sauce

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat
- 1 pound penne pasta
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled, and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, plus extra for seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, plus extra for seasoning
- 1 (15-ounce) can whole tomatoes, drained, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 cup white wine
- 1/3 cup clam juice
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
Creamy Feta and Dill Dressing on Closet Cooking

Mix everything and enjoy! : Add grated cucumber for a thicker, more tzatziki like dressing
- 1/2 cup greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup feta, finely crumbled
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 2 tablespoons dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)

Roasted Asparagus and Mushrooms with Chile-Lemon Salt

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F
- 1 pound cremini (baby bella) mushrooms, halved or quartered if large
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch lengths
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 dried arbol chiles, stemmed
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest

- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 7 ounces Mexican chorizo, removed from casing and crumbled
- 1/2 cup chopped Vidalia or sweet onion
- 1 clove garlic, grated on a rasp or finely minced
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 3/4 cup cornmeal, such as Indian Head
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 3/4 cup corn kernels (fresh, canned or frozen)
