Instructions In a large bowl, mix together water and dry milk until the milk dissolves
- 2 cups warm water
- 2/3 cup dry milk
- 2 tablespoons instant yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 5 to 5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 About 1/3 cup more butter

Waffled Tomato-Grilled Cheese

- 4 plum tomatoes, halved lengthwise

- 8 slices country white bread
- Melted unsalted butter, for brushing
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 12 slices cheese, such as Cheddar, Swiss, Muenster or a combination
- Special equipment: waffle iron
Bacon Apple Fritters

Preheat the oven to 400F (205C) degrees
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 cup (255 grams) milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon (15 grams) granulated sugar
- 2 cups (275 grams) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. (5 grams) baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 apple, diced (about 1 cup or 125 grams)
- 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
- 1/3 cup (55 grams) bacon drippings
- 1 cup (125 grams) powdered sugar

Mac Attack!! Cheeseburger Casserole

- CASSEROLE:
- 1 lb ground beef - 80/20
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can(s) refrigerated large biscuits - 5 count
- 2 c mild cheddar cheese, grated
- HOMEMADE SPECIAL SAUCE:
- 3/4 c mayonnaise
- 1/4 c ketchup
- 2 Tbsp onion, minced
- 4 Tbsp bread and butter pickles, minced
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- GARNISH:
- 1 c shredded lettuce
- dill pickle and onion slices to taste

- 1 whole onion, chopped

- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups chicken stock or broth
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 1 heaping cup grated Monterey Jack
- 1 heaping cup grated pepper Jack
- 1/3 cup sliced green onions
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 12 bread bowls, hollowed out
