Creamy Asiago Bacon Wrapped Roasted Onions

- 4/8 slices thick cut bacon
- 2 large onions, peeled and cut in half
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon thyme, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup beef broth (or mushroom broth)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup of asiago cheese (or parmesan), grated

Prepare the cinnamon filling: In a medium bowl, stir together the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon

- 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, just melted (not boiling)

- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 12 slices bacon, chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, for frying
- 4 corn tortillas, cut into strips
- BBQ RANCH SALAD DRESSING
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
