- 1 1/2 cups shredded carrots (3 medium)
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped red and/or green sweet peppers
- 1/3 cup tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons dried basil, crushed
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 kaiser rolls, split and toasted

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- 2 cups unsifted flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tablespoon water
- 1 1/2 cups quick oats, uncooked
- 1 (12 oz.) package Nestle' butterscotch flavored morsels

- 2 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

- 1 c. butter
- 1 . c. dark Karo
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla

- 1/4 cup dark rum

- 1 package (11 oz.) KRAFT Caramel Bits
- 2 Tablespoons milk
- 1/2 cup PLANTERS COCKTAIL Peanuts
- 1/2 cup JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
- 1/2 cup coarsely crushed pretzels
- 1 package (4 squares) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted
HIDDEN MINT COOKIES

- 18-ounce roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough, sliced 1/4-inch thin
- 14-ounce package chocolate mint wafers
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans, or enough to cover top of cookies
