Preheat oven to 375 degrees Sift together flour, salt, and spices
- 1 cup applesauce
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup nuts (chopped)
APRICOT NUGGETS

Combine sugar, butter, orange juice and vanilla
- 1 LB powdered sugar
- 6 Tablespoons melted butter or margarine
- 2 Tablespoons orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 package (11oz.) dried apricots, ground (about 1 1/2 cups)
- 1 cup chopped pecans
GRAHAM CRACKER COOKIES

- 1 1/2 stacks of graham crackers
- 2 sticks of butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 package milk chocolate chips
- 6 to 8 chopped nuts
COOKIE BARS (TWIX wanna-be)

- 1 tube sugar cookie dough
- 1 bag (48-52) caramels
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 bag chocolate chips
- 1 cup peanut butter (optional)
FRUIT PIZZA SUGAR COOKIE DOUGH

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Cream really well sugar, powdered sugar, eggs, butter, and oil and Crisco
- Cookie Dough:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup oil and Crisco (1/2 cup oil, 1/2 cup Crisco)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tarter
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 cups plus 4 Tablespoons flour
- Cream filling:
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups Cool Whip
TOP SIRLOIN STEAK WITH BALSAMIC GLAZE AND SWISS CHARD

To make the glaze: In a small saucepan over high heat, bring the vinegar to a boil
- Glaze
- 3/4 cup good-quality balsamic vinegar
- 2-1/2 –3 teaspoons light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 top sirloin steaks, each about 1 pound and 3/4 to 1 inch thick
- 2 bunches Swiss chard, about 1-1/2 pounds total

- 1 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine (softened)
- 1 cup light or dark brown sugar (packed)
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup light molasses
- 2 cups uncooked quick oats
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
MAC AND CHEESE WITH BACON AND RANCH

- 1/2 of a 1-pound package penne pasta, cooked and drained
- 1 jar (14.5 ounces) Prego® Alfredo Sauce-Flavored with Bacon
- 1/2 of a 1-ounce envelope ranch salad dressing mix
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
