Cherry Chocolate Cake

Easiest cake ever to make and VERY good
- 1 chocolate fudge cake mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1 can chocolate fudge frosting
PUMPKIN COOKIES

Cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 2 cups flour
- ICING
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 3 Tablespoons butter
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup powdered sugar
CHOCOLATE CREME DROPS WITH ICING

DROPS Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and melted unsweetened chocolate together
- DROPS
- 1/2 cup soft shortening
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 squares of unsweetened chocolate (2oz.) melted
- 1 cup thick sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 3/4 cups sifted flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup nuts (optional)
- ICING
- 1 Tablespoon butter
- 1 square unsweetened chocolate (1 oz.)
- 3 Tablespoons milk
- 1 1/2 cup sifted confectioner's sugar
Cinnamon Roll Cake

Mix everything together except for the butter
- Cake:
- 3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp.salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- Topping:
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
SHRIMP JALAPENO BOATS

Cut jalapenos in half and remove seeds
- 18 medium jalapeno peppers
- 2 cartons (8 ounces each) spreadable chive and onion cream cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced green onion
- 1/2 pound frozen small cooked shrimp, thawed
OATMEAL SCOTCHIES

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in small bowl
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or grated peel of 1 orange
- 3 cups quick or old-fashioned oats
- 1 2/3 cups (11-oz. pkg.) butterscotch Flavored Morsels
NUT CRESCENTS

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Cream sugar and butter, and flour slowly

- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1/2 lb. nuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
CHILI STRIP STEAKS WITH CHIMICHURRI AND CHIPOTLE DRIZZLE

In a small bowl mix the paste ingredients
- Paste
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons prepared chili powder
- 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 6 New York strip steaks, each about 12 ounces and 1 inch thick
- Chimichurri sauce
- 1/2 cup tightly packed fresh Italian parsley leaves and tender stems
- 2 medium garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Chipotle sauce
- 3 tablespoons adobo sauce from canned chipotle chiles in adobo sauce
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup un-sifted flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/3 cups flake coconut
- 1 1/2 cups bran flakes
