In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water
- 1 3/4 cups white sugar
- 8 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups lemon juice
Shrimp Barbecue

Cook all ingredients except shrimp on the stove for 7 minutes
- 2 LB Shrimp
- 1 tbs paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 sticks butter

Rapid Chicken Stock

Place the onion, carrot, celery, chicken carcass, garlic cloves, and peppercorns into a large pressure cooker
- 1 large onion, quartered
- 1 large carrot, cut into 4 pieces
- 1 stalk celery, cut into 4 pieces (optional)
- 1 leftover chicken carcass
- 10 cloves garlic
- 15 whole black peppercorns
- 4 quarts cold water, or more as needed
- 1 teaspoon sea salt, or to taste
Brothy Chinese Noodles

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large saucepan over medium heat
- 2 tablespoons hot sesame oil (see Note), divided
- 1 pound 93%-lean ground turkey
- 1 bunch scallions, sliced, divided
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
- 4 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 3/4 cup water
- 3 cups thinly sliced bok choy
- 8 ounces dried Chinese noodles (see Note)
- 3 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 small cucumber, sliced into matchsticks, for garnish
