Green Pineapple Booster

Salad Blends Directions cucumber, apple, pineapple, baby kale, mint and lime through juicer
- 1 medium cucumber
- 1 DOLE® Fuji Apple
- 1 cup chopped fresh DOLE Tropical Gold® Pineapple
- 2 cups DOLE Power Up Greens™ Baby Kale
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 lime, peeled
Pina Colada Breakfast Smoothie

Instructions Add all ingredients to a blender
- 1 1/2 cups coconut milk
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
- 6 oz coconut yogurt
- 1/3-2/3 cups quick oats (I usually use a little over 1/3 sometimes more)
- 2 bananas (frozen makes for best great texture)

- 2.5-pounds fresh shrimp, peeled, de-veined, about 16 to 20 count in size
- 8 slices thick bacon, chopped, cooked and drained
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 shallots, peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 red pepper, seeded and diced
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup pepper jack cheese
- hot sauce to taste
- packaged instant grits, prepared
One Pot Cheesy Sausage Pasta

Add olive oil to a 4-5 quart saute pan over medium high heat
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb Hillshire Farm Smoked Turkey Sausage, sliced
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic (about two fresh cloves)
- 2 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream
- 8 oz dry pasta (any small pasta will do)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper, each
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar-Jack cheese
- 1/3 cup chopped scallions, for garnish
Top o' the Mornin' Smoothie

Place all of the ingredients into the Nutri NinjaTM cup in the order listed
- 1 banana, peeled,
- 1 orange, peeled, cut in half,
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon,
- 1 scoop whey protein powder,

- 5 to 6 ice cubes

Directions Special equipment: a nonstick silicone liner; a candy thermometer Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- Nonstick cooking spray
- 2 cups hazelnuts
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- Coarse sea salt, for sprinkling

In a large stock pot lightly brown ground beef, and drain if needed
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 2 (14.5 ounce) cans Italian-style diced tomatoes
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans
- 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
Southern Buttermilk Biscuits

These buttermilk biscuits are authentic
- 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting the board (if you can get White Lily flour, your biscuits will be even better)
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon baking powder (use one without aluminum)
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt or 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, very cold
- 1 cup buttermilk (approx)
