Fruit Fennel and Chinese Cabbage Salad with Blueberry Pomegranate Dressing by Dr. Fuhrman

Combine salad ingredients in a large bowl
- SALAD
- 2 cups blueberries
- 1 kiwi,peeled and sliced
- 2 cups red grapes
- 1 pint strawberries sliced
- 1 apple cored,peeled and sliced
- 2 cups shredded Chinese or Nappa cabbage
- 2 medium fennel bulbs,trimmed and very thinly sliced
- DRESSING
- 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 //2 cup pomegranate juice
- 1/4 cup raw cashews
- 1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds
- 3 Tbs fruit flavored vinegar
- 4 dates,pitted
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Cheese Babka

Place yeast,sugar and 1 cup warm water into bowl of an electric mixer
- CRUMB TOPPING:
- DOUGH
- 2 oz yeast
- 1 cup sugar
- 10 cups flour
- 3 sticks butter
- 4 yolks
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup warm milk
- FILLING;
- 3 pkg 8 oz hard cream cheese
- 2 lbs. farmer cheese
- 5 Tbs vanilla sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 yolk
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg for brushing

- 1 head Boston Lettuce
- 1 bunch Arugula
- 1 Endive
- 1 can Hearts of Palm
- dill
- 2 Tbs dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup tarragon vinegar
- 1/4-1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 -1 Tbs sugar
- 1-2 cloves pressed garlic

Preheat oven to 350. Mix all dough ingred together by hand or in a mixer
- Dough
- 1/2 cup marg,softened
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup flour
- 2/3 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup sugar
- pinch salt
- Ice Cream
- 6 eggs,separated
- 2/3 cup sugar,divided(if you prefer less sweet just do 1/2 cup)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 8 oz container pareve whipping cream
- Peanut Butter Drizzle
- 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 2/3 cup Karo syrup
- 4 Tbs honey

Preheat oven to 350. In a mixer,whip the cheese and sugar until smooth
- 16 oz cream cheese at room temp
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 lb milk chocolate
- 4 oz white milk chocolate
Almond Date Smoothie

Pit the dates in a bowl and sprinkle with the warm water
- 7-8 chopped pitted dates
- 2 Tbs warm water
- 8-10 raw or roasted unsalted almonds
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 very ripe frozen banana
- 8 ice cubes
- Optional: 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
Shakshuka with Caramelized onions,yellow and Bulgarian Chees

Heat oil in a saute pan. Add onions and fry until beginning to brown
- 3 Tbs oil
- 2 large onions
- 1 Tbs sugar
- 2 small carrots,peeled and grated
- 7 garlic cloves,minced
- salt and white pepper to taste
- 4 large tomatoes,chopped
- 1 14 oz can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup yellow cheese,grated
- 1/2 cup feta(Bulgarian) cheese,cubed
Pumpkin Date Bread

Preheat oven to 375 and coat a 9x5" loaf pan with cooking spray or oil
- 1 cup pitted dates
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1 15 oz can pumpkin puree
- 1 1/2 sticks unsalted margarine,melted
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 eggs

- 1 bag frozen strawberries
- 1/3 cup dried pineapple
- 1/2 cup orange juice
