- 1 egg
- 3 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 4 1/2 cups flour, unsifted
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vegetable shortening
- seedless raspberry jam
- colored sprinkles
Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

Anise and Orange Cookies

Directions: To make the cookies: Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl

- zest of 1 orange

- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 teaspoons orange juice
- 5 to 6 teaspoons whole milk
- 1/2 teaspoons anise extract

The Kids Favorite Mac and Cheese

Heat oven to 350 degrees Melt 6 tablespoons butter in a large saucepot over medium heat
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 4 cups milk, warm
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- dash salt and freshly ground black pepper
- dash hot sauce
- dash worcestershire sauce
- 3 cups shredded cheddar
- 1 pound Cavatappi pasta, cooked al dente
- 1 cup crushed potato chips
- 5 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
