Slow Cooker Teriyaki Chicken

In a slow cooker, mix together soy, molasses, vinegar, ginger, garlic, and pepper
- 1.5 pounds bonelss chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons water
Ham and Cheese Tailgating Sliders

Cut all rolls in half and place the bottoms in a 9 x 13 pan
- 1 (12 count) package Hawaiian bread rolls
- 1 pound shaved deli ham
- 12 slices Gruyere cheese
- 1 (8 ounce) tub chive and onion cream cheese spread
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 2 tablespoons W sauce
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
- 1/4 cup brown sugar

Chicago-Style Pan Pizza

Preheat oven to 350. Press dough into the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish
- 1 pound loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
- 1 pound bulk Italian sausage
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 8 ounces sliced dresh mushrooms
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
- 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- To make things easier, and because I thought the pizza needed more sauce, buy a jar of pizza sauce.
Orange Chicken

In a large bow, whisk together the cornstarch and egg whites with a fork until almost frothy, about 1 minutes
- Sauce:
- Vegetable or peanut oil for frying
- 4 whole egg whites
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Chicken breasts cut into bite sized pieces
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- dash of salt
- dash of crushed red pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed or minced
- 4 teaspoons ginger, minced
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- zest of 2 oranges
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 whole green onions, sliced
Crunchy Bacon Coleslaw

Mix Miracle Whip and sugar
- 3/4 cup Miracle Whip
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 5 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
- Bacon, cut into pieces (ready to serve bacon saves time)
Honey Garlic Roasted Carrots

- 2 pounds baby/thin carrots peeled, tops chopped off or to 2 inches
- 1/4 cup apricot preserves
- 2 tablespoons honey

- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Honey Glazed Carrots

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound baby carrots
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup Italian parsley, chopped
Cherry Cheese Torte

Place a layer of ladyfingers on the bottom and around the sides of an ungreased 9 inch springform pan
- 2 packages ladyfingers
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup plus 1 teaspoons sugar, divided
- 2 teaspoons vanilla, divided
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 1 can cherry or blueberry pie filling
Spinach Salad

Raspberry Filling for Layered Cakes

- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 heaping tablespoons cornstarch
