Vodka Sauce

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1-2 large garlic clove minced
- 1 can 28 oz crushed tomatoes
- 2 tsp parsley
- 1/2 cup vodka
- 1/2 tsp red pepper
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese
- prociutto *optional
- can add peas/basil if you like
Turkey Brine

In a large stock pot, combine the water, sea salt, rosemary, sage, thyme, maple syrup and garlic cloves
- 1 gallon water (16 cups)
- 1 cup sea salt
- 1 bunch rosemary (fresh)
- 1 bunch sage (fresh)
- 1 tbsp Thyme (dried)
- 1/2 cup Maple Syrup
- 10 cloves garlic (smashed)
- 1 gallon ice water (16 cups)
- 1 qt apple cider (4 cups)

Original recipes calls for the filling to be placed inside of crepes
- Crepes:
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups flour
- 2 1/4 cups milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Filling:
- 1/3 cup dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons chopped scallion (i used extra)
- 1/2 pound scallops in small pieces
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms (i made 2 cups) or 1 8 oz ham steak cooked
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/2 cups light cream
- 1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese (i made extra)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley minced
Artichokes with lemon garlic butter

Heat oil, sauté artichokes until brown
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 bag frozen baby artichokes
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 4 tbsp butter
Brown Sugar Frosting (really good with banana cupcake)

in a small saucepan, whisk the flour into the milk and cook over medium heat, whisking continuously until thick
- 2 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar packed
Asparagus Risotto

Heat broth in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat until it comes to a simmer
- 1 pound fresh asparagus spears, diagonally sliced into 1-inch pieces
- 5 cups chicken broth
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion
- 4 garlic cloves finely chopped
- 1 1/2 cups of risotto
- 1 cup dry white wine
- Sea salt & fresh pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Black Bean Burrito (Food Babe)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees (if you want to eat burritos now) Place tortillas on top of parchment paper lined alumi
- 6 small Food for Life Ezekiel Sprouted Grain Tortillas
- 1 can of Eden Foods Black Beans drained and rinsed
- 2 cups Field Day Organic Salsa or homemade salsa
- 3 ounces of raw goat cheese
- chilli powder to taste
- 1/2 of an onion chopped
- optional toppings: avocado, romaine, sour cream, lime wedges
Sicilian Taralli (lemon cookies)

Mix all together and form into rings or balls ( we did some easter egg shapes) Bake 350 @ 10-12 minutes (of course...
- cookies:
- 5 heaping cups flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 2 lemons grated and juice of 1 lemon
- 2oz baking powder (1/4 cup)
- 1 block of crisco (1 cup)
- Mix all together with your hands.
- icing:
- 3 cups powwedered sugar
- 4 tbsp water (i added a little more)
- 1/2 tsp lemon extract
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
