Passion Fruit Tea

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice
- 2 oz passion fruit juice (Ceres brand is available at most grocery stores)
- 4 oz brewed Earl Grey tea
- 1/2 oz lemon juice
- 1/4 oz agave nectar
- Fresh blueberries for garnish
Pretty-in-pink salad dressing

Blend all ingredients in food processor until smooth
- 2 t balsamic vinegar
- 1 T canola oil
- 1/3 c nonfat Greek yogurt
- 6-10 fresh strawberries

Garden Greens with Chopped Eggs and Whole Herbs

STEP 1 Prepare an ice-water bath
- 4 large eggs
- Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
- 8 ounces haricots verts, trimmed
- 8 ounces snap peas, trimmed
- 4 anchovy fillets, preferably packed in oil (from a 4.2-ounce jar), minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 ounces packed baby spinach (about 4 cups)
- 1/4 cup packed fresh tarragon leaves
- 1 cup packed fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves

Position oven rack in the center of the oven; preheat to 325 degrees F
- 2 tablespoons port or water
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 cup dried cherries
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 6 ounces semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs, cold
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 1/2 ounces chopped semisweet chocolate or 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate pieces

- 3/4 cup silver tequila
- 3/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice from about 6 to 8 limes
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon, plus 1 1/2 teaspoons coarse salt, divided
- 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 4.5-pounds chicken drumsticks, about 20 drumsticks
- 3 tablespoons safflower oil
- clementine or orange wedges, for serving, optional
Breakfast Pie

- 1 pound pan sausage
- 1 can (10 ounces) tomatoes and green chilies
- 2 cups grated cheese, divided
- 4 eggs, beaten slightly
- 5 ounces evaporated milk
- 2 unbaked pie shells

- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 1 cup 2% milk

- Oil for deep-fat frying
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 to 3 tablespoons water
Charred Corn with Sage

Remove kernels from corncobs and discard cobs
- 4 fresh ears corn, shucked
- 2 T EVOO
- 1 small yellow onion, peeled and finely diced (about 1 c)
- 6 fresh sage leaves, finely minced
- Coarse sea salt
Espresso Steak Rub

- 2 t coarse salt

Heirloom Tomatoes with Cherries, Balsamic and Hyssop

Divide heirloom slices among 4 plates
- 1 large ripe red heirloom tomato (about 8 ounces), sliced
- 6 red cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup fresh Bing cherries, halved and pitted
- 2 tablespoons good-quality balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons small fresh anise-hyssop leaves and flowers* (optional)
- You may substitute any floral, aromatic herb such as mint, tarragon or basil for hyssop
