- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup good red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup good olive oil
Chocolate Glaze

Here’s how I made the glaze
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup Ghirardelli sweet ground chocolate and cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon dutch process cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons heavy cream, half & half or milk (any of those will work, I used cream)
- 1 cup (you can use more or less if desired) of confectioners sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- Pinch of salt

Measure butter & shortening onto a plate, put into freezer for about 20 minutes
- 3/4 cup cake flour
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 tablespoons shortening
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
- 3 cubes ice
- 1/2 cup cold water
Garlic Butter

Directions In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic and parmesan cheese
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground paprika
Egg Custard Tart (Hong Kong / Flaky)

The crust is crumbly-flaky, but not puff pastry flaky
- "Water" dough:
- 200 g All purpose flour
- 50 g Cake flour
- 1-1.5 tsp double action baking powder (i could only get single action baking powder)
- 30 g sugar (tweak according to your sweet tooth)
- 80 g Lard
- 125 ml Ice Cold water
- Oil dough:
- 100 g Cake flour (sift this!)
- 0.5 tsp double action baking powder
- 125 g Lard
- Egg custard filling:
- 80 g white sugar
- 280 ml Cold water
- 4 large eggs
- 40 ml full cream milk
- 40 ml cream

- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
- 1/4 cup melted shortening
- 6 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
