Cook beef, onions, green pepper and celery over low heat until beef looks pink color
- 2 lb. Lean ground beef
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped mushrooms
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne

Cake: Combine candy bars and butter in heavy sauce pan
- Cake:
- Six 1 11/16 oz chocolate covered milk caramel candy bars; 1/2 cup margarine; 2 cups sugar, 1 cup shortening; 4 eggs; 2 1/2 cups All purpose flour; 1 teaspoon salt; 1 1/2 cups buttermilk; 1/2 teaspoon baking soda; 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Frosting:
- 2 cups sugar; 1 13 oz can evaporated milk; 1/2 cup marshmallow crème
Pork Roast - Sunday Pork Roast (Taste of Home Magazine)

Combine 2 tablespoons flour, salt, pepper, bay leaf and thyme; rub over entire roast
- 4 tablespoons All-Purpose flour, divided
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 bay leaf, finely crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 bone-in pork loin roast (4 to 5 lbs)
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 medium carrots, chopped
- 1 celery rib, chopped
- 2 1/3 cups cold water, divided
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
Seafood - Shrimp Casserole (Faye Childre)

Put in greased baking dish and crumble Ritz crackers on top
- Cook 1 1/2 lbs. Shrimp in Crab Boil. Clean, arrange in casserole (1 1/2 qt size) and pour the following over the shrimp:
- 1 can of cream of celery soup, 1 small can of mushrooms (2 oz can stems and pieces, drained)
- 2 heaping tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/2 teasp Worcester Sauce, 3 shakes of Tobasco, salt and flavored salt

- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/2 teasp celery salt
- 1/2 teasp onion salt

- 6 oz barbecue sauce

- 1 – 6 oz can frozen orange juice, thawed
- 1 – 6 oz can frozen lemonade, thawed
- 1 quart apple juice, chilled
- 2 quarters of ginger ale, chilled
- 1 pint orange sherbert

- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 3 1/4 cups wing

Salads - Carol Donalson's Pasta Salad

Mix all ingredients except cheeses and tomatoes
- 1 package Rotini (cook according to directions; drain well.)
- 2 packages dry Italian dressing mix (make according to 1 package but add 2 packages.)
- 1-2 cans sliced ripe olives
- 5-6 Romano tomatoes
- 1 package shredded cheese-mixed cheeses
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
