Desserts - Strawberry Cake

Cake: Fold in 4 eggs, one at a time
- Icing:
- 1 box of Duncan Hines White Cake Mix
- 1 3 oz box of strawberr jello
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 of a 10 oz package of frozen, sliced strawberries
- 1 box of powdered sugar
- 1/2 of 10 oz package of frozen strawberries
- 1 stick of margarine
Vegetables - Dad's Baked Beans

In an ungreased 2 quart baking dish, combine all ingredients
- 3 cans (15 1/2 oz. each) great northern beans, rinsed and drained
- 5 hot dogs, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Desserts - Four Layer Pie

1st layer 2 cups flour 1 cup margarine 1 cup of chopped pecans Mix and spread in pan
- 1 st layer
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 cup of chopped pecans
- Mix and spread in pan. Bake at 350 for 35 min. Cool.
- 2 d layer
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup Cool Whip
- Mix and spread carefully over cooled crust.
- 3 d layer
- 3 small packages of instant chocolate pudding
- 3 –1/2 cups of milk
- Mix with mixer for 2 minutes. Spread over cream cheese mix.
- Note: Can use a different flavor of pudding or even use a pie filling, i.e. cherry, peach, etc.
- 4 th layer
- 1 cup Cool Whip
- Spread and keep in refrigerator until ready.
- Enjoy!
Dessert - Banana Pudding

Recipe on box of Nabisco Vanilla Wafers - 12 servings, 2/3 cup each
- 3/4 cup sugar, divided
- 1/3 cup flour
- dash of salt
- 3 eggs, separated
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
- 48 vanilla wafers, divided
- 5 bananas sliced
Steak - Fruited Flank Steak (Paige Sutcliff)

Mix and pour over flank steak or London Broil and cook 7 hours in slow cooker
- 1 can of fruit cocktail, drained and refrigerated for later use.
- 1/4 cup juice of drained fruit cocktail
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
Beverages - Punch

Can mix everything EXCEPT ginger ale ahead of time
- 1 large can pineapple juice (48 oz)
- 4 cups cranberry juice
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 – 2 liter bottle of ginger ale
Chicken Tetrazzini (Paige Sutcliff)

Chicken tetrazzini is a perfect meal to make ahead and put in the oven before dinner
- 1 (7-ounce) package spaghetti, broken in half
- 1 pound chicken breast, boneless and skinless
- 5 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups water
- 2 chicken boullion cubes
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Steam vegetables and carrots
- 1 package Pepperidge Farm Herb Flavored Stuffing
- Mix
- 1 8 oz carton sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cups grated carrots; 2 lbs. squash, eggplant or broccoli
Soup - Meme's Vegetable Soup

In a large pot, place ham bone, bay leaves, thyme and 6 cups water
- 1 ham bone, with some meat
- 2 bay leaves, preferably fresh
- 1 spring thyme
- 6 cups water
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato puree
- 1 (14.5 oz) can whole tomatoes, with juices
- 2 cups shelled fresh butter beans (about 1 1/2 pounds unshelled or frozen butter beans, thawed)
- 1 Vidalia onion, chopped
- Kosher salt
- Ground black pepper
- 3 carrots, sliced into thin rounds
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 Yukon Gold potatoes, cubed
- 1/2 lb. frresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1 inch pieces
- Scraped kernels from 4 ears fresh seet corn (about 2 cups)
- 1/4 lb. fresh okra, stems trimmed, cut into 1/2 inch pieces (optional)
Desserts - Peanut Butter Balls

Cook syrup and sugar on low heat
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 bottle of Whiter Karo Syrup (16 oz sze)
- 2 12 oz jars of Creamy Peanut Butter
- 12 cups of corn flakes, crushed by hand
