Peanut Blossoms Cookies

Combine all ingredients except chocolate bits
- 1 3/4 C flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 C sugar, white
- 1/2 C brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 C shortening
- 1/2 C peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 2 T milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 48 milk chocolate bits
Peppermint Puffs

Preheat oven to 375°. Beat butter and powdered sugar
- 1/2 C unsalted butter
- 1 C powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 C flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 8 oz. white chocolate melted with 1 tsp. crisco
- 1/2 C finely chopped candy canes
Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie

Combine sugar, salt and flour
- 1 1/4 C sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/3 C flour
- 2 C fresh strawberries
- 2 C fresh rhubarb, cut into 1" pieces
- 2 T butter
- 1 T sugar or brown sugar
- pie crust (for 2 crust pie)
Dora’s Date Nut Cake

Mix dates and soda. Pour on boiling water and let stand until cool
- 1 C dates
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 C boiling water
- 2 T butter
- 1 C sugar
- 1/2 C nuts
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 C flour
Spinach Ring or Casserole

Cook spinach according to directions on package, (drain) Combine soup with sour cream
- 2 – 10oz. chopped frozen spinach
- 1 pkg. dry Lipton onion soup
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1 C Pepperidge farm dressing mix
- 1/2 stick butter, melted
Cranberry Bog Gorp

Preheat over to 300°. Lightly grease 15x10 inch jellyroll pan
- 1/4 C butter
- 1/4 C light brown sugar
- 1 T maple syrup
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 C dried cranberries
- 1 1/2 C coarsely chopped walnuts and/or slivered almonds
- 1 1/2 C pretzel twists
Castor Oil Cookies

- 1 C molasses

- 1/2 C castor oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. ginger
