Seda Stanton's recipe that was included in The Hidden Hills Cookbook by Jane Gross
- 4-5 cloves garlic
- Beef or shrimp
- Mushrooms
- Cauliflower
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 green onions
- 2 t. soy sauce
- Salt & pepper
- 1 t. sugar
- Rice
- Cayenne or crushed red pepper - to taste
Lemon Chicken

1. Combine the lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper in a large zipper-lock plastic bag
- 2 tbsp. lemon zest
- 1/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tsp. fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tsp. fresh rosemary leaves, finely minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 2-4 lbs. of bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs or drumsticks
- 2-3 tbsp. melted butter
- Thinly sliced lemons, for garnished
Guacamole

Perfect for dipping, this quick and easy guacamole recipe is always a big at get togethers
- Juice of 1/2 orange
- Juice of 1 lime
- 4 ripe avocados (split, core, slice & scoop easily with this avocado slicer tool)
- 1 Roma tomato, diced
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
- 4 tablespoon diced red onion
- 4 teaspoons chopped fresh cilantro
- Coarse sea salt, to taste
Salad Nicoise

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil
- 1/2 pound new potatoes, quartered
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup pitted nicoise olives
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 (5 ounce) can tuna
- 1/3 pound fresh green beans - rinsed, trimmed and blanched
- 1/2 pound mixed salad greens
- 1 cup lemon vinaigrette
- 3 hard-cooked eggs, quartered
- 3 roma (plum) tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon capers
- 4 anchovy filets

- For the Salad:
- 2 pounds Veal Scallopini (pounded 1/4-inch thin)
- Salt and freshly Ground Pepper
- 1 cup Flour
- 3 Eggs (beaten)
- 1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- Lemon Wedges to garnish
- 1 Lemon (juiced)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- pinch Salt
- 1/2 Small Red Onion (very thinly sliced)
- 1/2 bunch Parsley (leaves)
- 1 Granny Smith Apple (very thinly sliced)
Ed's Red Sangria

Mix all ingredients in a container
- 8 oz. apple juice
- 8 oz. mango nectar
- 2 oz. triple sec
- 24 oz. red wine
- Fruit-a combo of any of the following: cherries, lemons, limes, strawberries, pears or melon

Saute beef in oil in large 10-qt
- 3 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 ounces chopped onion
- 2 carrots
- 1 stalk of diced celery
- 1 can of tomatoes, diced
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1 can white kidney beans
- 1 can beef stock
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons fresh chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1 can of tomato sauce
- pasta shell macaroni (or other pasta)
Pasta Puttanesca

Mix garlic olive oil, black olives
- 1 large bunch Basil ; sliced once
- 3 cups Olive oil
- 2 cups Roma or Cherry Tomatoes
- 1 tube Anchovy paste
- 1 bulb Garlic ; freshly chopped
- 1 pound Shell pasta
- 1 1/2 cups Kalamata olives
- Parmesan cheese ; freshly grated
Asian Noodle Salad

In a skillet over medium low to medium heat, toast almonds and sesame seeds until light brown
- 1/2 cup Almonds ; sliced
- 8 tablespoon Sesame seeds
- 7 tablespoon Rice vinegar
- 4 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 1/2 cup Canola Oil
- 16 ounce Coleslaw mix
- 2 package Ramon noodles ; broken up-throw away seasoning packet.
