Chocolate Banana Bread

The ULTIMATE banana bread! Chocolate lovers will instantly fall in love with this easy quick bread
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Dutch process cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 3 large ripe bananas (1 1/2 cups mashed)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
- 1/4 cup canola, vegetable oil, or melted coconut oil
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 large egg, at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, divided
Mama Mia's Meat Sauce

Brown and drain meat. In a large pot, combine meat and remaining ingredients
- 2 pound Ground beef
- 4 cans (28 oz) Tomato Sauce
- 1 can (18 oz.) Tomato Paste
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 large Onion ; diced
- 1 cup Parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
- 2 teaspoon Garlic ; crushed
- Salt and pepper ; to taste
New Potato Salad in Mustard Vinaigrette

Cover potatoes with water
- 2 pound Red potatoes ; very small
- 1/4 cup Red wine vinegar
- 3/4 cup Olive oil ; extra virgin
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 3 tablespoon Chives
- 1 tablespoon Flat leaf parsley ; chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- Pepper ; to taste
Marinated Red Cabbage Slaw

Put cabbage and onions in a bowl (cabbage on bottom)
- 1 head Red cabbage ; sliced
- 1 medium Onion ; sliced
- 3/4 cup Sherry vinegar
- 1/2 cup Olive oil
- 2 tablespoon Raw sugar
- 1 teaspoon Dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon Celery seed
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Asian Chicken Cranberry Salad

Layer the cabbage in a large bowl with chicken, almonds (or cashews, or both), cranberries, red onion, sesame see...
- 2 small bags of coleslaw mix (about 12 cups)
- 4 cups rotisserie chicken, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 cups toasted sliced almonds (or cashews)
- 1 1/2 cup dried cranberries (I used Orange Cranberries from Trader Joe’s)
- 3/4 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1 cup sesame sticks (found in the bulk aisle at grocery store - optional)
- 1 1/2 cups chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup black sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. honey or brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. minced ginger
- 1 tsp. toasted sesame oil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 pound Almond paste
- 1 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
- 14 teaspoon Fine, unseasoned bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon Almond extract
- 5 Egg white
- 1/4 pound Pignoli nuts
Osso Bucco

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- 1/2 cup flour
- Salt ; and pepper
- 4 pieces veal shank with bone ; cut 3 inches thick
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 Carrots ; chopped
- 3 stalks celery ; chopped
- 4 cloves garlic ; coarsely chopped
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 tablespoons fresh Italian parsley ; finely chopped
- 1 cup dry Marsala ; or red wine
- 2 cups veal or chicken stock ; or beef stock
- 2 tomatoes, peeled ; seeded and chopped & 1 Tbs tomato paste or 1 cup canned pureed tomatoes
- 3 springs Thyme
Asparagus Lemon Pasta Salad

Cook pasta, toss with 1 tsp olive oil and chill
- 1/2 pound penne pasta
- 1/4 cup and 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 bunch asparagus, cut into 1 1/2" pieces
- 3 tbs lemon juice
- grated rind of 1 lemon
- salt & pepper
- 1 jarred red pepper, sliced
- 2 tbs pine nuts

Combine all ingredients and pour over steaks in a zip lock bag
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Worchestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- 3 tbsp basil
- 1 1/2 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp minced garlic

- 1 3/4 cups icing/powdered sugar
- 4 eggs (large)
- 2/3 cup whole cream, heavy cream or whipping cream
- 7 tablespoons butter melted
- zest of one lemon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
