Sift flour, sugar, salt, soda, and cocoa together into a 9 x 13 inch ungreased cake pan

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 st Icing
  • 2 1/2 T flour
  • 1/3 C white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 C milk, cook til thick and cool
  • 1/2 C butter
  • 1/2 C sugar, whip until fluffy
  • Blend all together well
  • 2 nd Icing (OR use Betty Crocker Fudge frosting)
  • 2 T cocoa
  • 1/4 C milk
  • 2 tbs white karo syrup
  • 1/4 C btr
  • 1 C sugar
  • Mix and cook until boiling. Beat and cool before frosting cake
