Halibut Loaf

Dissolve bouillon cube in boiling water
- 2 cups 474ml Cooked - flaked halibut
- 1 Chicken bouillon cube
- 3/4 cup 177ml Boiling water
- 1 1/2 cups 219g / 7.7oz Soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup 55g / 1.9oz Chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon 15ml Chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup 118ml Light cream
- 1 teaspoon 5ml Grated onion
- 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon 0.6ml Pepper
- 2 teaspoons 10ml Lemon juice
- 2 Eggs - beaten
Watermelon Jello Shots

Cut large watermelon in half the long way and remove pulp
- Large Watermelon
- 12 oz. (360ml) Red Jello
- 8 Packets Gelatin
- 4 Cups Hot Water
- 2 Cups Vodka
- 2 Cups Cherry Vodka
Creamy Ranch Bread

Add ingredients to bread machine according to manufacturer's directions
- # 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
- # 1/2 cup cheddar cheese , shredded
- # 1/4 cup sour cream
- # 3 cups bread flour (plus)
- # 1 teaspoon salt
- # 1 tablespoon sugar
- # 1 tablespoon dry buttermilk
- # 1 tablespoon dry ranch dressing mix
- # 1 (1/4 ounce)package dry yeast
- # 1 tablespoon dried chives (optional)
- # 3 tablespoons bacon bits (optional)
- # 1 cup cheddar cheese , 1/2 inch cubes (optional)
Honey Glazed Pineapple

Method: Whisk first 4 ingredients in large glass baking dish
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 T grated lime peel
- 1 t orange flower-water (sold at liquor stores)
- 1 large ripe pineapple
- 1/4 cup minced fresh mint (optional)
Kung Pao Pork

In a bowl, combine pork, soy sauce and garlic chili paste
- 1 lb boneless pork loin chops or shoulder, cut into 1" pieces
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp Asian garlic chili paste
- Sauce
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp Chinese black bean sauce
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp Asian chili paste
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, slivered
- 1 red or yellow bell pepper cut into 1/2" squares
- 1 Tbsp minced ginger root
- 1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 1 Tbsp water
- 1/2 cup frozen baby peas, thawed
- Hot cooked Jasmine rice or rice noodles
- 2 green onions, cut into 1/2" pieces
- 1/4 cup roasted unsalted peanuts, chopped (optional)

Method: Combine dry ingredients in a medium-size bowl and cut in lard
- 4 cups flour
- 2 t salt
- 2 t baking powder
- 4 T lard
- 1-1/2 cups warm water, approximately
Salsa Cornbread

DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 425° F
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup buttermilk or equivalent buttermilk powder
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 cup drained canned corn kernels
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/2 cup chopped tomato
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
- 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
- Tip: : If you do not have an ovenproof skillet of the correct size, use an 8-by-8-inch glass baking dish. Do not preheat the empty baking dish in the oven before filling it.
