A great German cookie at Christmas time
- 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Lemon Extract
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Anise Extract
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Black Pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Cloves
- 1 3/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- confectioners' sugar
Croissant Sausage Casserole

Directions Cook sausage, eggs, peppers, onions, and potatoes in a skillet
- 2 croissant packages
- 1 pkg. Jimmy Dean Sausage
- 5 eggs
- 2 potatoes
- 1/2 pepper
- 1/2 onion

Bearnaise Sauce

Method: Bring vinegar, wine, shallots, and tarragon to a boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 3 T shallots, minced
- 1 T chopped fresh tarragon
- 2-3 T water
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- juice of half a lemon
- salt, white pepper and cayenne to taste
Walleye Melts

Preheat broiler. In bowl mix walleye, mayo, celery, red onion, parsley, vinegar, salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 to 2 c walleye filets, cooked and flaked
- 1/4 c mayo
- 1/4 c celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 c red onion, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 T parsley, chopped
- 3/4 tsp red wine vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices rye bread, slightly toasted
- 8 slices tomatoes
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- Parsley chopped for garnish
Chicken Marsala 2

Adjust oven rack to lower-middle position, place large heatproof dinner plate on oven rack and heat to 200˚F
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- salt and ground black pepper
- 2 T vegetable oil
- 2-1/2 oz. pancetta (about 3 slices), cut into pieces 1 inch long and 1/8 inch wide
- 8 ox. white mushrooms, sliced (about 2 cups)
- 1 medium garlic clove, minced
- 1 t tomato paste
- 1-1/2 cups SWEET Marsala
- 1-1/2 T juice from 1 small lemon
- 4 T unsalted butter, cut into 4 pieces, softened
- 2 T chopped fresh parsley leaves
Balsamic Glazed Green Beans

Method: Combine 1 T of the balsamic vinegar with the sugar in a small bowl and mix well; set aside
- 1 T plus 2 t balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 t white sugar
- 2 T olive oil
- 10 oz. fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed
- 1 shallot, cut into 1/4-inch disks
- kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup water; more if needed
- 1 T unsalted butter, cut into 4 pieces
- 1 T sliced almonds, toasted

1. In a small bowl, soak the saffron threads in the 1 tablespoon of boiling water for 10 minutes
- 1 pinch saffron threads
- 1 tablespoon water, boiling
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2/3 cup hot water (100F-105F)
- 5 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 cups white bread flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
- To Finish
- 1 egg, beaten for brushing over
Fruit Pizza

Recipe: Spread the cookie dough over a greased pizza pan and cook it according to package instructions
- 1 roll store-bought cookie dough ,
- 1 pound cream cheese,
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract,
- 1/2 cup sugar,
- sliced fruits such as kiwi,
- peaches, strawberries,
- bananas and mandarin sections,
- 4 oz. boiling water,
- 2 tablespoon orange jelly powder.
