PIROSHKI (RUSSIAN HAND PIE)

You can bake or fry these
- For dough:
- 4 cups (500gr) all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (about 1 1/2 teaspoons) Red Star Platinum Superior Baking Yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup (80ml) vegetable (or canola) oil
- 1 cup (240ml) warm water, might need a little more
- For meat filling:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- 2-3 garlic cloves, pressed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 medium onion finely minced
- 1/3 green pepper finely minced (optional)
- 1 cup cooked rice
- Oil for frying
Crab Bite Appetizer

Very Yummy. These crab bite appetizers are great for special parties
- 1 pound lump or back fin crab meat OR 4 cans of lump or back fin crab meat, drained (don't get the cheapest, you will get what you pay for)
- 4 slices soft white bread, edges removed, finely diced (or lightly pinched apart, try not to compress the bread) Bread crumbs do not work in this.
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 dash of Tabasco, no more than two dashes
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons French's yellow mustard, don't use Dijon
- 1 box puff pastry, defrosted
Taco Crescent Pizza

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Brown ground beef with taco seasoning and drain
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
- 2 (8 oz.) cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
- 1 (16 oz.) can refried beans (I used the jalapeño kind)
- 2-3 cups shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican blend
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 4 green onions, chopped
Snickers Peanut Butter Brownie Ice Cream Cake

It’s nice and easy to make
- 1 box brownie mix, plus ingredients required on box
- 1/4 cup milk
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
- 8 oz Cool Whip, thawed (OR 1 recipe of homemade whipped cream)
- 1 20 oz bottle chocolate sundae syrup (Here's the one I used)
- 1 20 oz bottle caramel sundae syrup
- 1 11.5 oz bag mini snickers, chopped, divided into three groups
Home Made Cornbread

You could add a can of creamed corn and a cup of cheddar cheese to this recipe
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 Tbsp salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 Tbsp butter melted
- 2 Tbsp bacon grease fresh, or if using saved grease, melt it

- 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut in half length-wise to create 4 thinner cutlets
- 1 teaspoon Herbes de Provence
- 1 teaspoon granulated onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
- Canola oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided use
- 3 white onions, quartered and sliced thinly
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 cup beef stock combined with 1 tbsp cornstarch (only add cornstarch initially to 2 tbsp of stock, once blended well add the rest of the stock) and add as instructed to pan
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed through garlic press
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves, divided use
- 1 1/4 cup grated gruyere cheese
Custard Pie

Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees
- 1 unbaked pie shell (Can use Marie Callendar's deep dish)
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of sugar (you can SUBSTITUTE WITH TRUVIA OR STEVIA)

- 2-2/3 cups of milk
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Chocolate Raspberry Dump Cake

In a medium bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, milk, and cocoa powder
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 small package chocolate pudding, instant
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tbsp. cocoa powder
- Hot Fudge
- 1 can raspberry pie filling (or Cherry, chocolate chips, peanut butter or even caramel).
Louise's Maryland Crab Cakes

A true, simple, pure, just plain good crab cake
- 1 pound lump or back fin crab meat (gently go through for shell trying not to break up the crab)
- 4 slices of soft white bread, edges removed, finely diced (or lightly pinched apart, try not to compress the bread)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 dash of Tabasco
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsps French's yellow mustard (some recipes call for Dijon, I think it is a little strong. (Your choice)
- Margarine, butter, or oil for frying (four thin pats of butter for broiling (preferred)
- Plain bread crumbs (if you prefer to fry the crab cakes) Suggest broiling.
