- 125 g butter, softened
- 75 g (1/2 cup) icing sugar mixture
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 40 ml (2 tablespoons) boiling water
- 20 ml (1 tablespoon) water at room temperature
Homemade Turkey or Chicken Dressing

- 1 Loaf of day old bread (prefer white)
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups chicken or turkey stock (might need a little more or a little less)
- giblets from the bird (optional, I like to use them)
- 1 small onion diced
- 2 stalks celery diced small
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tbsp poultry seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 stick butter half room temp and half melted.
- option 1: 1/2 pkg of regular Jimmy Dean sausage cooked and drained.
- Option 2: One lb of fresh oysters, drained dried and lightly diced.
Cocoanut Custard Pie

1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 2 c half and half
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1/2 stick butter, melted
- pinch salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c coconut, flaked or shredded

Combine jello with boiling water and dissolve

- 2 cups of boiling water
- 2 cups of 7-Up
- 1 cup small marshmallows
- 3 bananas

BLACK BEAN & CORN PASTA SALAD

You could use almost any bean in this salad
- 1 (16-ounce) box rotini tri-colored pasta, cooked
- 2 cans black beans rinsed and drained well
- 1 small bag frozen corn, thawed
- 1 can Rotel
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup white onion, chopped
- 2-3 Tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
- 3/4 of a large bottle of Zesty Italian dressing
Tangy Sweet and Sour Meatballs

These sweet and sour meatballs are a great recipe for taking to pot luck, parties, office pig-ins
- 3 (12 ounce) jars Heinz chili sauce (have tried other chili sauces and they just don't stack up to Heinz)
- 1 (16 - 18 ounce) jar grape jelly
- 1 large package frozen meatballs (there are about 80 to 100 in a bag)
