- 8 slices of bacon, halved
- 1 8-ounce can whole water chestnuts
- 1 bottle VH dry sparerib sauce

In a large stockpot, cook bacon, onion, and garlic until bacon is crisp and onion is transparent

- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups dry white wine
- 2 cups sliced carrots
- 2 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed

- 2 lbs. whitefish (cod, haddock)
- 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped

- melted margarine (1/4 to 1/2 cup)
- Filling:
- 250 grams Philadelphia cream cheese (softened)
- 1 14-oz can condensed milk
- 1/3 cup chocolate syrup
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee (dissolved with 1 or 2 tsp. hot water)
- 1/2 pint (small carton) whipping cream.
