Caramel Apple Bites

This fun recipe, from Darlene Markel of Sublimity, Oregon, is one the kids will find appealing
- FILLING:
- 1/3 cup finely chopped unpeeled apple
- 1/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
- DOUGH:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- TOPPING:
- 1 package (14 ounces) caramels
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- Green toothpicks
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Caramel Apple Dip

This sweet, smooth and fluffy dip is really a crowd-pleaser
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup marshmallow creme
- 3 medium tart apples
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons water
Fudgy Salty Peanut Butter Brownies

- 1 1/4 sticks unsalted butter, plus more, softened, for pan
- 1 cup unsweetened natural cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 eggs, at room temperature
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter (don't use old-fashioned or natural)
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 1/4 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups salted cocktail peanuts
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 7 tablespoons unsalted butter
Chocolate Fudge Sauce

Heat cream with butter and sugar in double boiler til smooth
- 2/3 c double cream
- 1/4 c butter
- 1/4 c vanilla sugar
- 6 oz plan chocolate chopped
- 2 T brandy
Anytime Potatoes

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
- 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
- 1 pint (16 ounces) sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 pounds frozen hash brown potato cubes, thawed
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Super Yummy Chocolate Chunk Oatmeal Cookies

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 ounces block dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- Large flake sea salt, for garnish

- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips, divided
- 1 (18.25-ounce) package yellow cake mix, batter mixed according to package directions
Louisiana-Style Hot Sauce

Tip: Capsaicin is the compound that makes hot chiles hot
- 1-1/4 lb. fresh red chiles, such as cayenne, tabasco, or serrano
- 4 medium cloves garlic, sliced in half and peeled
- 1 tsp. finely chopped fresh basil
- 1 tsp. finely chopped fresh oregano
- 1/4 tsp. ground celery seed
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup distilled white vinegar
