Salisbury Steak with Mushroom Gravy

This is a recipe from Ree Drummond, The Pioneer Woman
- Gravy:
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cube beef bouillon, crumbled (or powdered beef base)
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 whole onion, halved and thinly sliced (or diced if you prefer)
- 2 cups beef broth, more if needed for thinning
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon seasoning sauce, such as Kitchen Bouquet, optional
- 4 dashes Worcestershire
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch, optional
- Salt and pepper
Raspberry Cheese Danish

1.preheat oven to 370 degrees 2
- 1 17.3 oz. pkg (2 sheets) frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
- 8 oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 21 oz. raspberry pie filling
- 3 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar

If you don't want to use the clarified butter just add regular butter or a combination of butter and oil
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- Cooking spray
- 1 (8-ounce) package presliced mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped shallots
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
- 4 (6-ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, divided
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, divided
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup dry Marsala wine
- 1/2 cup frozen green peas

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- salt and pepper
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 8 cups chopped Romaine lettuce
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and diced
- 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
- 2 avocados, pitted and diced
- 2 roma tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup garlic vinaigrette (see recipe below)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Garlic Herb Vinaigrette Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard (optional)

1.Place broccoli in a steamer over 1 inch of boiling water, and cover
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 inch strips
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon chile paste
- 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 3 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp. sour cream
- Generous dash freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
- 1/3 cup well drained chopped canned artichoke heart

Old Fashioned Peanut Brittle

In a large saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup butter
- 3 cups dry roasted peanuts
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- I always add a teaspoon of vanilla and a 1/8 tsp. salt when the baking soda is added.
