  • IN A SEPARATE BOWL, COMBINE:
  • 2 1/2 c all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ADD DRY INGREDIENTS TO THE MARGARINE MIXTURE. MIX IN:
  • 3 c finely chopped apples
  • 1 c chopped walnuts
  • 2-3 Tbsp milk
  • GLAZE
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1/2 c margarine
  • 1/4 c buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp light corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp real vanilla extract

  • STIR IN:
  • 1 can artichoke hearts, drained, chopped (14 oz.)
  • 1 ⁄2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 8 oz. reduced fat cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 ⁄2 cup shredded Parmesan
  • 1 Tbsp. minced lemon zest
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp. minced fresh tarragon
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce, or to taste
  • 1 ⁄2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cans pasteurized crabmeat, drained (6.5 oz. each)
