Preheat oven to 425°. In a large bowl, whisk 1-1/2 cups flour, baking powder, salt and dried herbs until blended

- 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 cups white whole wheat flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon each dried basil, oregano and parsley flakes
- 3/4 cup beer or nonalcoholic beer
- 1-1/2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Italian cheese blend, divided
- 2 cups fresh baby spinach
- 1 can (14 ounces) water-packed quartered artichoke hearts, drained and coarsely chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes, seeded and coarsely chopped
- 2 tablespoons thinly sliced fresh basil

- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 1/2 teaspoons salt, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, divided
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pound hot Italian sausage
- 1 pound mild Italian sausage
- 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
- I used Hungarian Hot peppers. Also can cut the meat in half - it made a ton

Cook macaroni in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package directions
- 1 lb. dry elbow macaroni
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 2 tbs Dijon mustard
- 1 tbs sugar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1/2 cup sliced scallions
- 1/4 cup minced mild, sweet piquante peppers (such as Peppadew)
- 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
Easy Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese Croutons

In a large pot or Dutch oven such as Le Creuset, heat the olive oil over medium heat
- 3 tablespoons good olive oil
- 3 cups yellow onions, chopped (2 onions)
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic (3 cloves)
- 4 cups chicken stock, preferably homemade
- 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes, preferably San Marzano
- Large pinch of saffron threads
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup orzo
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Grilled Cheese Croutons (see below)

- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 (10 oz)pkg. frozen green peas, thawed but not cooked
