Honey Wheat Oatmeal Bread

Today I am sharing with you my most recent favorite bread
- 4 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup honey
- 6 tablespoons butter, divided
- 2 1/4 cups warm water (110-120 degrees)
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 3/4 cups unbleached bread flour
- 4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup quick cooking oats
- 1 whole egg, lightly beaten
Our Favorite Pie Crust (King Arthur Flour)

We figure we can’t repeat too often our formula for the flakiest, most tender pie crust — so here it is
- 1 1/2 cups (6 1/2 ounces) All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tablespoon (1/8 ounce) buttermilk powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick, 2 ounces) butter
- 1/4 cup (1 1/2 ounces) lard or vegetable shortening
- 1 teaspoon white or cider vinegar
- 3-5 tablespoons (1 1/2 to 2 1/2 ounces) cold water

- 3/4 cup baking cocoa
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups sugar
