Sriracha Honey Cashew Chicken

Last week, I was craving Chinese food when Tricia posted this recipe along with mouth-watering photographs
- 3 boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1/2" pieces, about 1 lb
- 3 tablespoons arrowroot or cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon light olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 medium head of broccoli, cut into small florets, about 3 cups worth (you can peel and thinly slice the stem as well, that is my favorite part)
- 1 large yellow onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup snowpeas, sliced in half
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup dry roasted unsalted cashews
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha hot sauce
Bean Soup

Chop up bacon and fry in heavy pot till crisp
- 2 strips bacon
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup dried Navy beans
- Water to cover
- Salt and pepper to taste
Seeded Hamburger Buns

- Buns
- 3/4 cup lukewarm water
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons butter or oil
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons sesame or poppy seeds
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder, optional
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- Topping
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1 large egg white, or Quick Shine spray
Homemade Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sandwiches

- 1 1/4 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup Butter Flavor Crisco all-vegetable shortening
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans

Buttermilk Ranch Dressing II

These are approximate measurements; the recipe can be tweaked to your own taste
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup buttermilk, or 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice, plus milk or soy milk to make 1/2 cup (I've had success using less)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder or granules
- 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 pinch dried thyme
- 1 pinch dried oregano
- 1 pinch paprika

- 1 cup (4 ounces) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup stone ground or yellow cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (8 ounces) whole milk
- 1/4 cup (2 3/4 ounces) maple syrup
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
Spicy Skillet Potatoes
