- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 2 Tbs. balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 3 Tbs. olive oil
- 1 flank steak, about 1 1/2 lb.
- 1-lb. loaf herbed focaccia
- 1/2 cup caramelized shallots*
- 6 oz. mozzarella cheese, sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 1 cup arugula
- Olive oil for brushing
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- For the salad
- 8 ounces chicken breast, skinless
- Olive oil to brush onto the chicken and on the toast
- 4 thin (melba thin) slices baguette on the diagonal
- 1/2 medium garlic clove
- 2 heads baby romaine lettuce
- 1 large, free-range egg
- One handful of arugula and mustard cress
- 2 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan
- 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
- For the dressing
- 2 tablespoons fat-free Greek yogurt
- 1/2 garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon malt vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1 package of pre-shredded potatoes (refrigerated section next to the eggs)

- 3/4 cup drained mild Peppadew peppers in brine, 1 tablespoon brine reserved
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ancho chiles
- 1 1/4 cups (packed) coarsely grated extra-sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (packed) coarsely grated whole-milk mozzarella
- 8 ounces medium shell pasta or gemelli
