- 1 cup of shortening or butter
- 1 cup of clear corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp fine salt
- 1 tsp clear vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp any flavoring
- 2 lbs of powdered sugar

1. Season chicken with adobo
- 1 lb. chicken breast and/or thighs (if using boneless, skinless chicken,

- 1 large onion, quartered

- 1 1/2 lbs boneless beef chuck stew meat
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- kosher salt & pepper to taste

- 1 14oz can whole tomatoes
- 2 carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 large onion, halved & sliced
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 4 cloves garlic, 2 crushed, 2 minced

- 1 green bell pepper, sliced long ways
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced long ways
