The Best Chicken & Dumplings Recipe

In a shallow bowl, mix 1/2 cup flour, salt and pepper
- DUMPLINGS:
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1 broiler/fryer chicken (about 3 pounds), cut up
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 medium carrots, chopped
- 2 celery ribs, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 6 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 cup white wine or apple cider
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 bay leaves
- 5 whole peppercorns
- 1-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup 2% milk
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- SOUP:
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 teaspoons minced fresh parsley
- 2 teaspoons minced fresh thyme
- Additional salt and pepper to taste
S'mores Cake

- Ingredients For the ganache:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For the filling:
- 8 whole graham crackers, crushed
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Pinch of salt
- Vegetable oil, for the spatula
- 1 16-ounce container marshmallow cream
- For the cake: Basic Chocolate Cake , baked and cooled

Preheat oven to 375°
- 3 cups of packed flour
- 3/4 cups of white sugar
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cup of soft butter(stick)
- 2 large eggs(beat before adding)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup milk and a small bowl, set aside
- 3/4 cups of sesame seed
Mexican Potato Salad

Preparation: Serves 6 Mix vinegar, oil, salt and pepper
- 3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 lb red skinned potatoes, cooked and sliced
- 1/2 lb fresh carrots, diced and lightly cooked
- 1/2 lb fresh green beans, cut and lightly cooked
- 1/2 cup sliced, pitted ripe black olives
- 3 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
RED CARPET CHAMPAGNE COCKTAIL

Serves 6
- Ingredients:
- 12 oz Pama pomegranate liquor
- 6 oz St. Germain elderflower liquor
- 3 oz triple sec
- 6 raspberries
- 1 bottle sparkling wine or champagne, chilled
- Preparation:
- In each champagne flute, add 2 oz Pama, 1 oz St. Germain, .5 oz. triple sec, and 1 raspberry. Stir gently with a swizzle stick. Pour in the sparkling wine or champagne and fill to the top of the champagne flute.
Deep-Fried Banana with Chocolate & Peanut Butter

- 8 popsicle sticks
- 10 oz dark chocolate, chopped and melted in a double boiler
- 2 bananas, peeled and cut width-wise into 8 pieces
- 1-1/2 cups dry-roasted peanuts, chopped and divided
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- Oil, for frying
PARMESAN-CRUSTED PORK CHOPS

- 1 (4.2-oz) box seasoned coating mix for pork (such as Oven Fry)
- 2/3 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg white, whisked
- 4 medium boneless pork chops, about 1” thick
- 4 Tbsp butter

- 1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni (I used whole wheat)
- 1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 2/3 cup frozen corn (I used 1 cup)
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin (I used 1 teaspoon)
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup minced fresh cilantro
