Chicken-Fried Steak & Gravy Recipe

Place 1 cup flour in a shallow bowl
- 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour, divided
- 2 large eggs
- 1-1/2 cups 2% milk, divided
- 4 beef cubed steaks (6 ounces each)
- 1-1/4 teaspoons salt, divided
- 1 teaspoon pepper, divided
- Oil for frying
- 1 cup water
HAMBURGER STEW

2 tablespoons dry onion soup mix, or 1 beef bouillon cube 1/4 tsp
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 cups tomato juice (or Spicy V8, if you want a little kick)
- 2-3 carrots, sliced
- 2-3 ribs celery, sliced
- half a green pepper, chopped
- 10 oz. frozen corn
- 10 oz. frozen green beans
- 2 medium potatoes, cubed (or substitute with one cup of barley)
- 2 cups water (or if you want it extra beefy, use one cup water and one cup of beef broth)
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce (I used Lea & Perrins original)
- 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
- dash of hot pepper sauce
- 2 tablespoons dry onion soup mix, or 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper (Salt and pepper can be adjusted to taste. Feel free to add a little hot sauce, such as Tabasco, if you want it extra spicy.)
Orange Dream Layered Squares

Combine graham crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of 8-inch square pan
- 6 graham crackers, finely crushed (about 1 cup)
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Orange Flavor Gelatin
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened, divided
- 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
- 1/2 cup cold milk
- 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
- 1 tsp. orange zest
Berry Lemonade Iced Tea

In a Dutch oven, bring water to a boil
- Ingredients:
- 3 quarts water
- 8 wild berry tea bags (Celestial Seasonings Wild Berry Zinger or similar)
- 3/4 — 1-1/4 cups sugar
- 12-oz. can of frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- Lemon slices
- A few raspberries, blackberries, or a combination of the two (optional)

- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) low fat buttermilk
- 1 cup (145 g) raisins
- 2 cups (300 g) rolled oats, divided
TURKEY JOE RECIPE

Directions Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet
- 2 1/2 pounds ground turkey breast
- 1 small red onion finely diced
- 1 red or yellow pepper finely diced
- 1 stalk of celery finely diced
- 4 gloves of garlic minced
- 1 cup of water
- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 5 dashes Worcestershire sauce or to taste
- 2 or more teaspoons chili powder
- Pinch or more of crushed red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- Kaiser rolls
- Add extra heat with hot sauce if desired
