Drunken steaks

Pre-heat the oven to 375°F
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 1/4 cup beef stock
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon grainy Dijon mustard
- 4 sirloin or flat-iron steaks (6-8 ounces), at least 1-inch thick
- Kosher salt and coarse black pepper
- 4 large potatoes, cut into 3/4-inch wedges
- 5-6 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 2 tablespoons thyme, chopped
- Peppercorn blend, freshly coarsely ground

Cherry Clafoutis

Choose the ripest cherries, wash them and remove the pits

Apple Bread with Salted Caramel Icing

In your mixer cream together eggs, butter, apple pie spice, and sugar until creamy and smooth
- For the topping:
- 3 cups apples Peeled, Cored, and cubed
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbs vanilla
- 1 tbs apple pie spice
- 2 cups flour
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tbs baking powder
- 1 stick salted butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups powdered sugar

- 8 ounces unsalted butter
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
