Mushroom Pepper Steak

Cut steak into serving-size pieces
- 2 pounds beef top round steak
- 2 cups each sliced green, sweet red and yellow peppers (1/2-inch strips)
- 1 can (7 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 2 medium onions, quartered and sliced
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
- Hot mashed potatoes
Mountain Dew Cake

Mix well and bake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes
- 1 box lemon cake mix
- 1 box lemon instant pudding
- 1 can Mountain Dew
- 1/2 cup oil
- 4 eggs

- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup plain flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder

Combine the butter, peanut butter and sugars using a mixer on medium to low speed until light and fluffy
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 1/2 cups plain flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. (13 oz.) Snickers miniatures
Tomato Spinach Spread

In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, milk, salt and cayenne until smooth
- PITA TRIANGLES:
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped
- 1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 6 whole pita breads
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
Fruit Medley

In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients; cover and refrigerate overnight
- 1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks, undrained
- 1 can (11 ounces) mandarin oranges, drained or 2 medium navel oranges, peeled and chopped
- 1 large red apple, cubed
- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- 1 cup halved seedless red grapes
- 3 kiwifruit, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 cup fresh or canned pitted dark sweet cherries
- 2 medium firm bananas, sliced

In a large bowl, cream the butter, oil and sugar until light and fluffy
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1-3/4 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup baking cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cups shredded zucchini
- 1/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
Angel Biscuits

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 5 cups flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 cups buttermilk*
- canola oil
- To make buttermilk, mix 1 cup milk with 1 tbsp. lemon juice or vinegar and let sit for about 10 minutes until curdled.

Beat together: 8 oz. cream cheese 2 eggs ¾ box powdered sugar 1 tsp
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 egg
