This Streusel Pumpkin Pie recipe has got it all
- For the Crust:

- 1-1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp table salt
- 1/2 cup salted butter, diced and chilled
- 1/4 cup cold ice water
- For the Filling:
- 1 cup half and half
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 (15oz) can pure pumpkin puree
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp table salt
- For the Streusel Topping:
- 1/2 cup flour
- 4 TB light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 TB salted butter, diced into small cubes, cold
- 1/4 cup ice water
- Other: 9″ deep dish pie pan

- 1 bag fresh red or white pearl onions
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2-3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper

- 1 can crushed tomatoes (28 ounces), drained
- 1 cup cream
- 1 box penne rigate pasta
- 1/2 cup baby peas (a small handful)
- 1/4 cup tarragon, chopped
