- 5 ears Corn
- Vegetable Oil For Brushing
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1 whole HALF Red Onion, Diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 whole Red Bell Pepper, Seeded And Diced
- 1 whole Green Bell Pepper, Seeded And Diced
- 1 whole Fresh Jalapeno, Seeded And Diced Fine (scrap Out Half The Seeds And Membranes)
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 1 pound Monterey Jack Cheese, Grated
- 2 whole Green Onions, Sliced
- Chili Powder, For Sprinkling
- 1 can (4 Ounces) Diced Green Chilies

In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast and 3/4 teaspoon sugar in 3 tablespoons water
- 1 package (1/4 ounces) active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup plus 3/4 teaspoon sugar, divided
- 1-1/3 cups plus 3 tablespoons warm water (110° to 115°), divided
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4-3/4 to 5-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- Melted butter or margarine, optional
Pasta with Bacon, Chestnuts and Dijon Recipe

Bring a large pot of water to a boil for the pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/3 pound meaty bacon
- 2 shallots, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons rosemary, chopped
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or crème fraîche
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
- 1 round tablespoon grainy mustard
- 1 pound linguine or rigatoni
- 1 cup pre-roasted or prepared chestnuts, sliced or chopped
- 1 loosely packed cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, plus some to serve/pass at table
Chipotle's Signature Guacamole

1. Using a fork, mash avocados with citrus juice in a small bowl
- 6 large ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
- 1/4 cup citrus (lemon and lime) juice*
- 3 cups fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups red onion, finely chopped
- 12 large serrano chili peppers, seeded and finely chopped*
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- Tortilla chips, for serving
- The original recipe calls for lime juice and jalapeño peppers.
Holiday Monster Cookies

Position oven racks in the top and bottom thirds of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (see Cook's Note)

- 10 oz. semisweet chocolate, chopped in small pieces
