Cream of Broccoli Soup

Remove broccoli buds from stalk
- 5 cups chopped broccoli
- 2-10-1/2 oz. cans condensed chicken broth
- 5 T. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. light cream (or half & half)
- 2 c. shredded sharp cheddar
- nutmeg to taste
- salt & pepper to taste
Baked Pineapple

Mix with pineapple, put in baking dish, top with crumbs, 30 minutes, 375 degrees
- 1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Mix together.
- 2 eggs
- Beat well.
- Add sugar and flour mixture to eggs.
Glazed Pecans

Beat egg whites and water until frothy
- 1 lb. pecans
- 1 egg white
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon water
Sidesaddle Pork 'n' Beans

In a large skillet, cook the sausage and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain
- 1/2 pound bulk pork sausage
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1 can (15-3/4 ounces) pork and beans
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1/8 teaspoon salt, optional
- 1/8 teaspoon dried rosemary, crused
- 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
Hearty Mac & Cheese (with ground beef)

Cook macaroni according to package directions; set cheese packet aside
- 1 pkg. (7-1/4 oz.) macaroni and cheese dinner mix
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
- 1 can (10-3/4 oz. ) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 Tbsp. ketchup
- 2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 cup frozen corn, thawed
- 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup butter, cubed
- 1/4 cup 2% milk
Clam Chowder

Saute butter and chopped onion
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cans cream of potato soup
- 2 cans New England clam chowder
- 2 cans minced clams (6-1/2 oz. size)
- 1 qt. half & half
Sweet & Tangy Pulled Pork

1. Cut pork roast in half; place in a 4-5 qt
- 1 boneless pork shoulder butt roast 3-4 lbs.
- 1 jar (18 oz.) apricot preserves
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard mustard
- 2 Tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce or 1/4 cup chicken broth
- Hamburger buns, split, optional

Creamy Pepper Jack Tomato Soup Recipe

In a large saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 2 cans (10-3/4 ounces each) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, cubed
- 4-6 oz. Pepper Jack Cheese, cubed
- 5 dashes Tabasco sauce
