Beef Burgundy

1. Combine beef in a large resealable plastic bag with 2 tbsp of the flour, 1/4 tsp of the salt and the pepper
- 2 pounds beef chuck for stew, cut into 1 1/2- to 2-inch chunks
- 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 can (14.5 oz) low-sodium beef broth
- 4 large carrots, peeled and cut on the diagonal into 11/2-inch pieces
- 1 pkg (10 oz) brown mushrooms, cleaned (halved or quartered if large)
- 2 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 bag (14.4 oz) frozen pearl onions, thawed
- Mashed potatoes or hot buttered noodles (optional)
Slow Cooker Baked Potato Soup - Da Best

1. Combine potatoes, red pepper and broccoli in slow-cooker bowl
- 3 1/2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cut into 3/4-inch pieces
- 1 small sweet red pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped broccoli
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/3 cup half-and-half
- 1/3 cup reduced-fat sour cream, plus additional for garnish
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 scallions, trimmed and thinly sliced
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

1.Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, chilled
Inside Out Chocolate Strawberries

Remove stems and part of inner parts of strawberries to from a small bowl
- 24 to 36 medium strawberries
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 4 ounce cream cheese, at room temp
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Egg Cheese Souffle

Cut up bread and cheese, alternate layers
- 8 slices buttered bread
- 1/2 lb velvetta cheese cubed
- 1/2 lb sharp cheese cubed
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup scalded milk
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp dry mustard
Vanilla Marshmallow

Fun holiday idea. I make these with my niece and nephew and then let them decorate the tops with sprinkles

- 3 (1/4-ounce) packages unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract, plus 1 vanilla bean, scraped
- Confectioners' sugar, sifted, for coating
Sausage Stroganoff

- 1 lb original sausage
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 can (2.5 ounce) mushrooms drained
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

- 8 ounces noodles, prepared

- 1 pkg 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups strawberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1/2 cup apple jelly
