Pasta Fagioli Slow Cooker Crock Pot version

Tastes just like the Pasta Fagioli they serve up at the Olive Garden
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 carrots, chopped
- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 (28-ounce) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (16-ounce) can red kidney beans, drained
- 1 (16-ounce) can white kidney beans, drained
- 3 (10-ounce) cans beef stock
- 3 teaspoons oregano
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 5 teaspoons parsley
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce (optional)
- 1 (20-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 8 ounces pasta

- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 bottle Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon oregano
Orange Rice Pilaf

A great side dish for chicken, pork or fish
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped or 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
- - Grated zest of 1 orange
- - Juice of 2 oranges plus enough chicken broth to make 1 3/4 cups liquid
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/4 cup slivered toasted almonds, for garnish
Quick Basil Beer Bread

Mix all ingredients together and pour into a well greased loaf pan
- 3 cups of self-rising flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 12 oz. warm beer

*preheat oven to 425. drain thawed spinach well and squeeze out excess liquid until spinach is dry; reserve
- 1/2 cup thawed frozen chopped spinach
- 1 egg
- 1 container (15oz) whole milk ricotta cheese
- 1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, about 5 oz.
- 1 tsp. fennel seeds, crushed
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara pasta sauce
- 2 pkgs 1 lb each frozen breaded Italian -style eggplant cutlets
- fresh basil sprig, optional

- 3 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 2 pound(s) ground dark-meat turkey
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 minced jalapeño chiles, seeds and ribs removed for less heat, if desired
- 1 tablespoon(s) ground cumin
- Coarse salt
- Ground pepper
- 1 can(s) (28-ounce) crushed tomatoes
- 4 cup(s) (from 6 ears) fresh or thawed frozen corn kernels
- Cornmeal Crust:
- 1 1/2 cup(s) yellow cornmeal
- 2 teaspoon(s) coarse salt
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) ground pepper
- 4 tablespoon(s) butter
- Topping:
- 1 cup(s) (4 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Asian Slaw with Peanut-Soy Dressing

To prepare the dressing, whisk all the ingredients together in a medium-sized bowl and set aside
- Dressing:
- 3 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp creamy peanut butter
- 1-1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1-1/2 Tbsp fresh ginger root, minced
- 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
- Slaw:
- 1 cup red cabbage, thinly sliced
- 3 cups Napa cabbage, shredded
- 3/4 cup carrots, julienned
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup snap peas, julienned
- 1/4 cup green onions, julienned
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 Tbsp sesame seeds, toasted (optional)

- 1 Cup of Fantastic World Tabouli found in the bulk foods section at large stores.
- 1 1/4 cups boiling water
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 large diced tomatoes
- 2 Tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
- Chopped cucumber
- chopped green onions
- Chopped fresh Basil or clintro
- Sliced Black Olives
- Chopped garlic
- Feta cheese to taste.
- Salt & Pepper to taste.
