Sweet Hawaiian Crockpot Chicken

Add all ingredients to the crockpot and cook on low 6-8 hrs and they should just fall apart
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup light soy sauce
- 2 pounds chicken breast tenderloins
LIGHTER FRIED CHICKEN

Preheat the oven to 375°F
- Serves 8
- 8 skinless boneless chicken breast, trimmed of all visible fat (about 1 1/2 lbs)
- 1/2 tsp Paula Deen’s House Seasoning (1/4 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp ground black pepper, 1/8 tsp garlic powder)
- 1/4 cup light mayonnaise
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 tsp hot sauce
- 1 1/4 cups cornflake crumbs
Pasta, Tomatoes, Veggie Broth, Olive Oil, and Seasonings

Throw it all in the pot, INCLUDING the uncooked Pasta, and cook! - Bring it to a boil, then reduce to a simmer
- 12 ounces pasta (I used Linguine)
- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes with liquid ( I used zesty red pepper flavor)
- 1 large sweet onion, cut in julienne strips
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
- 2 large sprigs basil, chopped
- 4 1/2 cups vegetable broth (regular broth and NOT low sodium)
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Parmesan cheese for garnish

Classic Macaroni Salad

- Ingredients
- 8 oz uncooked macaroni, elbow-variety
- 1/8 tsp table salt, or to taste (for cooking pasta)
- 1/2 cup(s) reduced-calorie mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup(s) celery, chopped
- 1/3 cup(s) red onion(s), finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp parsley, fresh, chopped
- 1/4 tsp table salt, or to taste
- 1/8 tsp black pepper, freshly ground, or to taste
Tortilla Soup - Gifts in a jar

A very nice to give to anyone and it is very good
- Seasonings:
- 1 cup of converted long grain rice
- 2-2 1/2 cups slighty crushed tortilla chips
- 1- 5oz. can chicken
- 1- 10oz.can of diced tomatoes
- small can of green chiles chopped
- 1 can of black beans- drained and rinsed
- Mix the following and place in a ziplock sandwich bag.
- 2 tlb.chicken bouillon granules
- 2 tsp.lemon powder
- 1 tsp. dried cilantro leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup dried minced onion
- 1 wide mouth quart jar and lid with ring
Foolproof Pie Crust

Mix the flour, shorting, sugar, and salt with a pastery blender or your fingers
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cups vetable shorting
- 1 table spoon granulated sugar
- 2 teasoopns salt
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup ice water
Cinnamon Syrup

In a small bowl or measuring cup, heat syrup in the microwave
- (serves 3-4)
- 1/2 cup pancake or maple syrup
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
