Blend together butter and brown sugar
- 2/3 c. butter, softened
- 1-1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 t. vanilla extract
- 2-1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 t. baking powder
- 1 t. baking soda
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 c. sour cream
Bloomin Onion Bread

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 unsliced loaf sourdough bread
- 12-16 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup finely diced green onion
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
Curried Chicken Soup

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 bunch scallions, white and green portions thinly sliced separately
- 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped

- One 32-ounce container (4 cups) chicken broth
- 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 large baking potato (12 to 14 ounces), peeled and cut into small cubes
- 1 rotisserie chicken, skin discarded and meat shredded
- One 15-ounce can chickpeas, rinsed

- 2-8 oz blocks of full-fat cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter (Jif is recommended - avoid all-natural types)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar

Smashed Potatoes and Cream Cheese

- 2 1/2 pounds small red potatoes or baby Yukon gold potatoes
- 1/2 cup half-and-half or whole milk
- 8 ounces plain cream cheese or veggie cream cheese, cut into pieces

- 1/2 cup sliced pitted Cerignola olives (black and green)
- 1/2 cup chopped jarred Peppadew peppers
- 1 large head romaine lettuce, shredded
- 2 ounces sliced mortadella, cut into thin strips
- 2 ounces sliced prosciutto, cut into thin strips
- 1 ounce sliced capicola, cut into thin strips
